SITE DESCRIPTION
The local amenities which are within walking distance include a couple of local pubs, a park and postoffice/newsagents. There are many lovely walks to suit all abilities and also cycling, which is popular due to flat countryside. Fox Covert is about 4 miles from the beautiful and picturesque village of Easingwold near the North Yorkshire Moors with plenty of shops and places to eat, as well as a cinema. Thirsk, is also close by and York is located 9 miles away from the site. Other attractions include the Hamilton Hills offering lots of lovely walks.
